Health through Wisdom is a Series started by Dr Suresh Vatsyayann Sharma world renowned Physician and Surgeon for improving the Health of People through Lifestyle modifications. When people start to understand their body, its organs and their diseases they are more likely to adopt a healthy lifestyle in terms of proper diet and regular exercise

 

Started in January 2017 the Series of Lectures under Health Through Wisdom has already done 16 sessions covering more than 750 people. The maximum number of people who can attend this Life Changing Session every Saturday at 11 am is restricted to 50. The one hour session organized every Saturday at GNH Hospital Gurgaon covers a different topic of health every week. The topics covered are Obesity, Diabetes, Hypertension, Vitamin Deficiency, Liver Diseases, Kidney Diseases, Kidney and Gall Stones, Cancer, Organ Failure, Joint and Back Problems, Allergies, Stress etc. 

The focus of Dr Suresh is to reduce and finally eliminate the diseases which emanate from inside our body due to internal and external factors like diet, stress, pollution and physical activity. He is a firm believer in the fact that the entire fraternity of the world doctors will not be able to keep the people healthy unless the people themselves are well informed about their body and what ails them. The healthcare delivery system in its present form is simply a patchwork where people rush to the doctors with their problems and the doctors prescribe medicines to overcome the current emergency or perform some kind of surgery.

 Human Body has evolved over a period of 4.5 billion years and is one of the finest machinery on this planet. Eat Raw Food for Healthy Body

 According to Dr Suresh the practice of cooking food was adopted several centuries ago so that we can eat in abundance whenever the food was available so that the human race can survive during the famines. Our body has to capacity to store unlimited amount of glucose in the form of fat. Even today when the food is regularly available we have continued to cook the food and consume more than what we need which is making the people obese and results in all kinds of diseases. One of his prescription to the people is to stay as close to the nature as possible and eat raw fruits and vegetables in all the meals. There are special recipes for those who prefer non vegetarian food. Supplements for Vitamin D have to be taken regularly unless our food gets fortified for Vitamin D. The Vitamin D available from the sun is no more getting absorbed by our body because of the high level of dust and smoke pollution which does not allow the ultraviolet rays of the sun to reach and get absorbed in our body. Every hospital in the country is reporting that more than 75-80% of the people are deficient in Vitamin D which not only results in weaker bones and joints but Vitamin D plays a very important role in the prevention of several diseases in human body which has been proved through researches across the world.
